'Pushpa' wins international film award

'Pushpa: The Rise' has now started winning recognition in terms of awards. This comes after the Allu Arjun-starrer became a pan-India blockbuster.
The Sukumar directorial has won the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Award 2022 in the Film Of The Year category (not to be confused with Best Film, which is won by 'Shershaah', the Bollywood film).
Producers Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers were present on the occasion. They proudly took the award as a validation of the quality of the film. "Congratulations to 'Pushpa: The Rise' for winning the award for Film Of The Year at Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards2022. Your hard work and perseverance have paid off (sic)," the awards authorities tweeted.
Starring Rashmika Mandanna as the heroine, 'Pushpa' has music by Devi Sri Prasad. The film also features Ajay Ghosh, Sunil, Dhananjay and others.
