The makers of "Pushpa: The Rule" have unveiled a new poster featuring Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli, the female lead, on the occasion of her birthday today. Rashmika's character is a village belle in this period action-drama franchise headlined by Allu Arjun and directed by Sukumar.
Rashmika Mandanna, one of the country's top actors, celebrates her birthday on April 5. To mark the occasion, the makers released a striking new poster of her character Srivalli from the movie "Pushpa." The poster showcases Rashmika in traditional attire, adorned with jewelry, and features a close-up shot where she intensively gazes, her fingers delicately placed around her right eye. The mature makeup hints at the sequel being set several years after the events of the first film.
In addition to "Pushpa: The Rule," Rashmika is set to feature in several other exciting projects, including "Kubera," "The Girlfriend," and "Animal Park."
Directed by Sukumar, "Pushpa: The Rise" released in 2021 and was a commercial success. The film follows the story of Pushpa Raj, played by Allu Arjun, a red sanders smuggler who rises to become the trade's kingpin. Rashmika portrays his love interest, Srivalli. The upcoming sequel is expected to see Fahadh Faasil in an extended role as the antagonist, compared to his cameo appearance in the first film. The teaser for "Pushpa: The Rule" is scheduled for release on April 8, with the theatrical release set for August 15.
"Pushpa: The Rise" not only achieved commercial success but also earned accolades for the Telugu film industry by winning two awards at the 69th National Film Awards.
