Pushpa split gives Vijay Deverakonda ample time

It's known that 'Pushpa' will be split into two parts, with the second edition releasing only in 2022. When exactly the second part will release next year is anybody's guess. Director Sukumar might complete the movie but a pan-Indian movie like it will take months to find a suitable date. It will be safe to think of the worst-case scenario. The 'Rangasthalam' director could be busy with the two-part Allu Arjun-starrer till the last quarter of 2022.

What then happens to Vijay Deverakonda's project with Sukumar? At the least, it will not happen for a year from now. If it goes on the floors in June 2022 or so, it will be a miracle. Prashanth Neel has started the shoot of 'Salaar' even before the post-production works of 'KGF-2' have been completed. Will Sukumar do such a thing with 'Pushpa-2'? Unlikely, considering how he works.

So, the 'Arjun Reddy' actor will have to plan his schedule accordingly. After Puri Jagannadh's 'Liger', he will be left with Shiva Nirvana's project, which may or may not happen anytime soon.

Deverakonda will not find it difficult to find star directors. A lot of them would want to work with him. But the question is, who will engage the 'Geetha Govindam' actor for a good part of 2022? Only time will tell.
