The cinema media loves nothing more than speculations about sequels to movies. 'Bangarraju' was kept in the news cycle for five years because it was a sequel. 'KGF 2' was written about too many times and earlier, 'Baahubali 2' was a regular news item. Since 'Pushpa 2' is not on the floors yet, the media has been writing non-stop bout when it will go on the floors.

And now, a sequel to a sequel is in the news. Thanks to actor Fahadh Faasil, a 'Pushpa 3' talk has taken off. In an interview on Tuesday, the 'Vikram' actor said that Sukumar could make 'Pushpa 3'. It's not clear whether it was a passing reference that he made casually to indicate that Sukumar has a basket full of ideas around Pushpa Raj. From what it appears, the actor has got no much idea about 'Pushpa 3'.

All bets are off for now. 'Pushpa 2' is yet to be shot in the first place. It will be released in the Summer of 2023 or even later. So, we are speculating about a film ('Pushpa 3') that might hit the screens in 2025 or so, that too, if everything goes well.

Until 'KGF 2' was released, 'KGF 3' was not a known thing. Let's see how far Sukumar, if at all, manages to keep secrets (if he has any) about his plans from tumbling out.
