Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa' was one of the biggies that brought cheer to the film industry during the covid era by collecting in excess of rupees 350 crores at the worldwide box office. The film also popularised the concept of pan Indian films with stars such as Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil and Samantha on board.

We already broke the news to you that director Sukumar has completed the script for 'Pushpa 2' and that the film will go on floors sometime in late July or August. It is now reported that the story will be set in foreign countries and will trace the rise of the hero Pushparaj's sandalwood business grow worldwide. Some sections even speculate that the heroine Srivalli's character will be killed off in the sequel and a Bollywood actress will become the new love interest of the hero.

Sources say that China, Hong Kong and Japan will be the major locations for 'Pushpa 2' and the film will have never before seen action scenes in Indian cinema. Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil are set to return for the sequel that will have music by DSP.
