'Pushpa 2' is going to go on the floors soon. Preparations are on to commence the shoot in August in all probability. But if the schedule is missed, the sequel will surely go on the floors in September.

Despite a bound script being ready, the Allu Arjun-starrer will not be hitting the screens before August 2023. A few weeks ago, it looked like the film will hit the screens in Summer 2023.

Director Sukumar wants to make it his and Icon Star's biggest project ever. So, the plan is to release it in ten languages, both Indian and foreign. This is becoming another 'Roudram Ranam Rudhiram' in terms of scale. Bollywood trade pundits are expecting 'Pushpa 2', whenever it releases, to make five billion rupees in India in Hindi alone.

Starring Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna in key roles, the film is not going to feature Manoj Bajpayee. Its music is by Devi Sri Prasad.

What after 'Pushpa 2'? Bunny will take a call before Dasara this year. He hasn't zeroed in on any project. Will there be 'Pushpa 3'? Clarity on this might emerge by the end of the year.
