Looks like writer-director Sukumar has something exciting up his sleeve. Today's video clip reveals the premise of 'Pushpa 2'. Pushpa Raj (Allu Arjun) runs away from a prison in Tirupati after suffering bullet injuries during the chase. A massive manhunt is launched to nab him. The mission is led by Fahadh Faasil's cop character.

Producers Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers in association with Sukumar Writings will be putting out a special glimpse on April 7 to reveal further. "Full Video on 7th April At 4:05 PM," the makers tweeted.

Rashmika Mandanna, Dhanunjay, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj and Ajay Ghosh are playing other important roles in the pan-India actioner. With music composed by Devi Sri Prasad, the film has cinematography and editing by Miroslaw Kuba Brozek and Karthika Srinivas, respectively.

With production design by S Ramakrishna and Monica Nigotre, 'Pushpa 2' has lyrics written by Chandrabose.
