Fans are ecstatic following the release of the poster for the highly anticipated pan-India film Pushpa: The Rule. Sequels to southern movies like Bahubali 2: The Conclusion and KGF: Chapter 2 have performed remarkably well in the pan-Indian market, raising expectations for Allu Arjun’s Pushpa sequel.
Pushpa: The Rise's music received immense appreciation, even in the Hindi belt. Songs like Shrivalli and Oo Antava became chartbusters. For fans of the music, there's exciting news. Recent reports suggest that the audio rights for the movie were sold for a record-breaking price.
A staggering Rs 65 crore was paid for the movie’s audio rights, surpassing the amounts paid for the audio rights of previous box office hits like RRR, Saaho, and Baahubali 2, which were sold for 25 crore, 22 crore, and 10 crore, respectively. This marks the highest amount ever paid for the audio rights of an Indian movie. With such a high price for the audio rights, Pushpa: The Rule is expected to continue to be one of the most profitable films. T-Series reportedly made a significant investment in the upcoming action-thriller Pushpa: The Rule, with Bhushan Kumar and the filmmakers recently meeting in Mumbai to finalize the deal.
There is speculation about whether T-Series will hold exclusive distribution rights to the film, but it is anticipated that Pushpa: The Rule will be released on 15 August 2024. The filming of significant portions of the project will take place in Bangkok and Europe. Rashmika Mandanna, Fahaad Faasil, Anasuya, and Sunil play crucial roles. Fahaad Faasil, who had an extended cameo in the first part, will play a major antagonistic part in the sequel. The film is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers, with Devi Sri Prasad responsible for both the score and background music. Earlier reports indicated that Devi Sri Prasad had already finished composing some tracks for the film.
