In introducing his son Akash as a hero, Puri Jagannadh has fallen back on the tried-and-tested formula of telling a cross-border love story. The boy is Indian, to be played by Akash. And the girl, who will play a Pakistani, is yet to be spotted.

As the director has stated in an interview, the film will be shot from October onwards. It will be shot in Himachal Pradesh for the most part. Sandeep Chowtha could be the music director.

The heroine is yet to be found, but given Puri's dexterous way of auditioning and zeroing in on the best, be assured that he will find someone who looks every bit a Pakistani.
