Puri reveals the heroes's secrets

Apart from a good script which is one of the most important motivations, what tempts our super stars to sign the films? Director Puri Jagannadh, who has worked with almost all superstars barring Chiranjeevi and NBK, has revealed it for the world. Speaking at the audio launch of The Businessman, the ace filmmaker talked in brief about what is the piece de resistance for each hero.

He began by suggesting that his was a light-veined (but true) comment which should not be taken seriously, Puri pointed out what keeps Pawan Kalyan, NTR, Ravi Teja, and Prabhas sign a film.

I would like to tell a joke on a lighter note and it should not be taken seriously. If you narrate an action-packed story where guns are used, Pawan Kalyan will give dates. If you want Prabhas's dates, you should talk about sets. If you want NTR's dates, you should tell him that the film would create all- time records. If you want to entice Ravi Teja, you should promise him that the shoot will be over in 30 days. If you want to sign Mahesh, the director should tell him that he is not sure when the shooting will be finished, he said to a cheering audience in his characteristic style.

His assessment does seem realistic. Pawan's fascination for guns in real life is as true as his liking for new-age bikes. NTR attaches importance to earth-shaking records, always. Ravi Teja, with his never-dying desire to act in as many movies as possible, is known to be a stickler for short schedules.
