At the pre-release event of 'Chor Bazaar' last week, producer Bandla Ganesh praised Akash Puri and Puri Jagannadh's wife as well. About Akash, Ganesh said that he has the potential to become a big star in the future. The 'Gabbar Singh' producer added that even those who have become big stars because of Puri's blockbusters hadn't promoted 'Chor Bazaar'. He also criticized Puri for not making it to the pre-release event of his son's movie. "You have made big stars out of others. But when it comes to your son's movie, you are absent in person," Ganesh said addressing Puri, asking Akash not to allot dates to his father after he becomes a star hero.

The over-the-top speech seems to have irked the 'Liger' director, whose team took to Twitter and plugged an old podcast of his. In the podcast, the 'iSmart Shankar' maker is heard asking everyone to use their speech with restraint.

"As long as we don't stop talking, we will never learn anything. It's always better to stay mum on all occasions. Don't talk cheaply. Don't behave cheaply. If you talk the wrong way, your career will be in trouble. It's better to be tight-lipped than speak out of turn. Your life and death are dependent on your tongue," Puri said in the podcast.

This is a veiled dig at Ganesh's deliberately sensational speech.
