Ram Pothineni’s action entertainer with director Puri Jagannadh was launched today formally. Titled ‘iSmart Shankar’, it will be jointly produced by Puri and Charmme.

The launch event was graced by ‘Sravanthi’ Ravi Kishore, who did the honours of switching the camera on. Sporting a brand new hairstyle and beard, Ram was conspicuous by his presence.

To be shot from tomorrow, the film will have music by Mani Sharma. Raj Thota has been roped in to crank the camera.

While the heroine's name is yet to be announced, it will have Puneeth Issar, Satya Dev, Milind Gunaji, Ashish Vidyarthi and Get-up Srinu in supporting roles. Sudanshu Pandey, Madhu Singampalli, Kuldeep Singh, and Deepak Shetty are in other key roles.

If Art direction is by Jonny shaik, editing is by Junaid Siddiqui, lyrics are by Bhaskarabhatla and fights are by Real Satish.

The film will hit the screens in the month of May.
