'iSmart Shankar', starring Ram Pothineni, Nidhhi Agerwal and Nabha Natesh, hit the screens this Thursday. With no major competitor at the BO and a grand release, the mass entertainer has had the cash registers ringing.

On the very day of its release, Puri Jagannadh made a surprise announcement that he will do a sequel to the mass sci-fi entertainer. To be titled 'Double iSmart', the commercial potboiler may or may not be his immediate next.

Currently revelling in the success of the film, the writer-director is yet to take a call. If the collections continue to be big, 'iSmart Shankar' will be a genuine comeback film for Puri. Since he is keen on working with Nandamuri Balakrishna, the latter may be tempted to give him dates. But can the film hold on to its current momentum? Let's wait and watch.
