Puri Jagannadh was today interrogated for a marathon 10 hours by the Special Investigation Team probing into the city's drug scandal. What began at around 10:30 in the morning ended only by 8:30 p.m.

The star director admitted to knowing the drug peddler Kelvin very well as an event manager.

Since it went on for so many hours, Puri is being assumed to have divulged crucial information during the interrogation. Financial transactions between Puri and Kelvin were shown by the authorities to the former so as to make him divulge more due to psychological pressure. Kelvin was very much present at the audio function of 'Jyothi Lakshmi', the authorities said.

When Puri's blood sample was taken, his well-wishers (including Sairam Shankar, son Akash and father-in-law) present there feared that he might be arrested.

Clearly, the issue is very serious.

Charmme was to be interrogated tomorrow, but the schedule has been changed. Cinematographer Shyam K Naidu, who has worked with the director on eight movies, will be interrogated tomorrow.
