It's known that Puri Jagannadh registered complaints against three distributors - namely, Abhishek, Muthyala Ramdas and Sudheer - with Jubilee Hills police, on Saturday, alleging that they had attacked him demanding a money-back for the losses suffered following the debacle of Loafer in 2015.

The distributors came in front of the media an hour ago and claimed that they had not even met Puri, much less manhandle him. The distributors said that the cases filed under six IPC sections (some of them non-bailable offences) were meant to intimidate them. They said that the police should have first conducted preliminary investigation and only then register such cases if they found any evidence.

The distributors are firm that they will come out unscathed. "We will be cleared of these accusations. We will file a defamation case against Puri Jagannadh after our innocence is proven," one of them said.
