Puri Jagannadh is in the news for a controversial reason at a time when 'iSmart Shankar' has had the box-office on fire. Speaking to a YouTube channel, the director has remarked that Mahesh Babu works only with those directors who are in form.
"Mahesh's fans keep urging me every day to make 'Jana Gana Mana' with their favourite star. They are not aware that Mahesh doesn't trust someone who is out of form. I like Mahesh's fans more than Mahesh because they trust me," Puri said.
The director then went on to say that he is a man of character and so he will not want to work with the 'Maharshi' actor now!
Mahesh's fans are expectedly trolling Puri, not flattered as they are by the director's comment that he likes them. "The Superstar worked with Puri when the latter had delivered duds like 'Andhrawala', '143' and 'Super'," a fan said. Another fan pulled out a video clip of what Puri said about Mahesh after the release of 'Businessman' in 2011. "None trusts me more than Mahesh Babu. He didn't even know the story of 'Businessman' when he okayed the project," Puri said back then.
Any hero would want to work only with those directors who are in good form. What is there to complain about it?
