Director S.P.Jananathan’s upcoming film Purambokku is fastly progressing. Recently the team has completed the first schedule of the shoot in Kulu Manali . The film stars three heroes in Arya, Vijay Sethupathi and Shaam. Karthika the heroine of the film who debuted with the 2011 super hit film Ko, says that the shoot was very challenging and thrilling since it happened amidst severe snowfall. She also added that the schedule was a learning experience to her.

The film is being produced jointly by UTV Motion Pictures and Binary Pictures owned by Jananathan. Ekambaram the regular cinematographer of Jananthan is handling the lens for this film also and senior Editor V.T.Vijayan has been entrusted with the job of Editing the film.

The Technical and Stunt crews of the film include a few members who have worked in Hollywood films.
