'Punyam Aham' starts at Kuttanad

The most celebrated writer in Malayalam, Thakazhi Sivasankara Pillai's grandson Rajnair has already started shooting for his debut movie titled 'Punyam Aham'.

The movie which is based on the present deterioration in rice cultivation of Kuttanad, owing to change in business activities of the local people has also been scripted by the young director.

Prithviraj will appear as Narayanan Unni, a young activist. Samvrutha Sunil is the heroine of the movie which also features Nedumudi Venu, Gopakumar, Nishanth Sagar and Urmila Unni in the other cast. The film will have musical score by Issac Thomas Kottukapally.
