For the first time in the Kannada film industry and perhaps in the Indian film industry a film 13 languages trailer was released. The credit for this epoch making score goes to ‘Kataka’ Kannada cinema in the production of NS Rajakumar and direction of Ravi Basrur a music director turned director.
On Vijayadashami Day two songs, teaser and trailer was released in the presence of power star Puneeth Rajakumar.

The film ‘Kataka’ (Karkataka zodiac that is Cancer) is presented by Puneeth Rajakumar and produced by NS Rajakumar of films like ‘Jatta, Mythri, Myna, Nataraja Service has taken up a horror based film.

Before the trailer launch two songs of the film and teaser were screened. The first song Yaake Heege Kannada…. by four female singers (Anurdha Bhat, Supriya Lohith, Ananya Bhat, Manasa Holla) and title track by six male singers (Chandan Shetty, Sridhar V Sambram, Arjun Janya, Bhart BJ, Veer Samarth, Charan Raj) the official trailer of the film was declared open by power star Puneeth Rajakumar at Renukamba Digital theatre on Vijayadashami night in Malleswaram.
The most important highlight of ‘Kataka’ is baby Shlaga and release of the trailer in 13 Indian languages. The Kannada, Hindi and English version of trailers were screened one after the other.

Power Star Puneeth Rajakumar appreciated the line of ‘Effort by Ravi Basrur Team’. I have liked the title track. There is new type of storytelling observed Puneeth Rajakumar. First time the trailer going to 13 languages is good thought he said.

The noted director Santosh Anand Ram present on the occasion stated that he was fan of Ravi Basrur music and he is now fan for his direction. Budget is not a constraint is proved in this trailer. It looks like out of box film pointed Santosh Anand Ram.

Karthik Gowda of ‘Rajakumara’ team starting his distribution office is releasing this film on 13th of October – this is what impressed all because the trailer is also released in 13 languages.

Ravi Basrur music director and director of the film disclosed that he is imbibing simplicity of super star Puneeth Rajakumar in his life. He has shot for the film at Guddada Bootha location where a TV serial shot was shot long ago. Sachin Basrur is cameraman.

Producer NS Rajakumar did not take the mike. Baby Shlaga center of attraction in the film and actress Spandana were present on the dais. A Kataka trophy was presented to team members of the film.
