Among the heroes the super power star Puneeth Rajakumar has maintained his power once again this year too. ‘Jackie’ is his top grosser and ‘Prithvi’ made stunning business even before the release. ‘Jackie’ is heading for 100 days but ‘Prithvi’ completed 75 days in city areas and 100 days in some rural parts.

Late Dr. Vishnuvardhana 200th film ‘Aptha Rakshaka’ in P Vasu direction was silver jubilee film and School Master in the direction of Dinesh Baboo crumbled in the box office.

Ajay Rao ‘Krishnan Love story’ was winner, Darshan ‘Porkhi’ was good, Shourya was average, Sudeep’s ‘Kichcha Huchcha, Theertha’ did well but not his directorial venture ‘Just Math Mathalli’. Two films of golden star Ganesh – ‘Ullasa Utsaha and Eno Onthara’ flopped. Ganesh was more in the controversial list of the year.

The three Mallu girls – Nayantara in ‘Super’, Bhavana in ‘Jackie’ and Parvathi Menon in ‘Prithvi’ gets the star attraction.

Among local girls Ramya in ‘Just Matha Mathalli, Jothegara and Kichcha Huchcha’ given pretty good performance. Radhika Pandit in ‘Krishnan Love Story’, Nidhi Subbaiah in ‘Pancharangi’, Aindrita Ray in ‘Veera Parampare’ performed well. Aindrita Ray films ‘Nooru Janmaku’ and ‘Nannavanu’ did not do well.
