Century hitter from 'Appu' to 'Arrassu' (7 films in a row) the power star of Kannada cinema Puneeth Rajkumar in the middle of shooting of 'Milana' with Parvathi as his counterpart has signed 'Bindhaas' for Udayachandra productions.

D.Rajendra Babu with 50 films as director to his credit is taking up this film after a long exile. Janardhana Maharshi has written the story and Malavalli Saikrishna of 'Jogi' fame is penning the dialogues.

Udayachandra Productions producer M.Chandrasekhar has given some of the successful films like Hatamari Hennu Kiladi Gandu, Annayya, Dore and Karpooradha Gombe. Luck was not to his side in his last two Kannada films Jenina Hole and Siddhu.

The film 'Bindhaas' goes on floor on 5th of July. Venu is the cameraman and Gurukiran scores the music.

Hansika, Nazar, Ramesh Bhat, Komal, Arun Sagar are also in the cast.
