As a politician and actress Ramya came down to Mandya to donate Rs.50000 to a few of the suicide farmers` families. Among the actors it is Puneeth Rajakumar eked out time from his Dodmane Hudga` shooting and visited a few families in andavapura taluk to donate Rs.10000 to a few of the farmers families.
The shooting of Dodmane Hudga` in the direction of Soori was scheduled at Sugar Factory in Pandavapura. At this time Puneeth Rajakumar met Ganada Hosur famer Ninge Gowda, Srirangapatna Taluk Sabbanakuppe farmer Kumar, Chinnena Halli village Rajendra, Mandya taluk Machenahalli village Siddaraju, Konasale village Ramesh families at guest house and donated Rs.10000 each. Puneeth also told courageous words to the families of farmers.
