Actor Vijay's upcoming mega budget fantasy flick 'Puli' undoubtedly the most expected film of this year. The first look poster of this Chimbudevan directorial venture has bee released at 12 am today, has achieved tremendous reach among movie and it is being shared rapidly in social networking pages and thousands of Vijay fans have changed the first look of Vijay in this film as their profile picture.

While the shoot of the portions that need Vijay has been completed the team is working extremely hard to make the film ready to release on September 17 as a Vinayakar Chathurthi treat to fans.

Meanwhile the business on distribution rights as well as satellite rights have also reportedly started. The film produced by PT Selvakumar and Shibu of Thameen Films is supposedly the highest budgeted VIjay film ever. As per sources in trade circles 'Puli' may also achieve the honor of earning the highest price for distribution rights in various parts of the globe for a Vijay film so far. It is said that the distribution rights of 'Puli' have been already sold at record price in Kerala and overseas.

As per information gathered by sources, the satellite rights of this magnum opus has already been locked up by Sun TV, for a never before whopping price. However the amount paid by the satellite major is kept as a secret.

The film stars Sridevi, Hansika, Shruthi Haasan, Prabhu, Sudeep and Nandita Shwetha alongside Vijay. Music has been scored by Devi Sriprasad and Natraj has handled the lens.
