Adventure fantasy is a genre loved by Children, youth and elders alike. Not many filmmakers these days tried this genre and Chimbudevan, who is well-known for making different films, has directed 'Puli', which stars Vijay, Shruti Haasan and Hansika in the leads.

Yesteryear female Superstar Sridevi played a pivotal role as queen in this movie, which has Sudeep playing another important role. Devi Sri Prasad composed the music and the audio has gone well with the music lovers. The trailer also took the internet by storm and there is a huge hype and hoopla surrounding this project, which is going to have a simultaneous release in Telugu, along with the Tamil version on 1st October.
