SJ Suryah and Pawan Kalyan team up after their blockbuster `Kushi' for an action entertainer in the form of `Komaram Puli' produced by Sri Kanakarathna Movies.
Pawan Kalyan has not been on screen for sometime now with his last movie being `Jalsa'. In `Komaram Puli', he plays the role of a police officer named Puli who is honest, sincere and likes his job very much. He is dedicated and committed to his work. Circumstances lead him to fight a battle with a dangerous don, Manoj Bajpai.
Nikeesha Patel is the heroine of the movie and she's also playing a cop. AR Rahman's music is already a big hit and SJ Suryah claims that the movie will have excellent rerecording and extraordinary visual effects along with mind-blowing stunts. The movie is a high budget movie that has been shot in India and abroad. Binod Pradhan is the cinematographer of the movie. Besides merging the visual effects on to the reel, sources say that the cinematographer has done a splendid job and will surely win accolades.
In `Komaram Puli', a lot of heavy duty guns have been used. According to insiders, the movie has been shot to equal Hollywood standards. Even Mitsubishi Motor Company has associated with this movie as it tries to propagate a new Mtisubishi SUV. It is said that Pawan Kalyan has given his 100% for the movie as it is sort of a comeback vehicle for him. The movie has been in the making for the past two years and it is finally seeing light this August.
