Popular comedy actor Pugazh who attained fame through the 'Cook With Comali' show on Vijay TV recently got married to his long time lover Bensiya. A year back the couple tied the knot according to the bride's Islamic customs and now had a traditional Hindu wedding.

Pugazh has paid a touching tribute to the much loved late comedian Vadivelu Balaji who passed away suddenly in 2020 due to a sudden illness. He shared a photo on Instagram in which his wife Bensiya and he are seeking blessings from a portriat of Balaji.

Pugazh wrote the touching lines in Tamil that roughly translates to "My dear buddy on your wedding anniversary I am taking the next important step in my life's journey. Both of us seek your lifelong blessings. You will always remain with me and I sincerely wish and pray to god that your rebirth should be as my son."

The post has won netizens hearts and they have showered more than two and a half lakh likes for the post. Pugazh is currently acting as the hero in 'Mr. Zoo Keeper' and also plays important roles in A.R. Murugadoss's 'August 16 1947' , 'VJ46' and 'Agent Kannaayiram' among others.
