Director M. T. Muthu has come up with a story titled 'Pudhiya Payanam' which talks about a poor boy's association with two girls. Mohammed Rabi of Vairam movies is producing the film.

Seeing the troubled marriage of her sister, the heroine of the film starts hating the very institution of marriage. But then every girl falls in love and attitudes change. With her newfound love for a poor boy she gets determined to make sure he amounts to something in the eyes of the society. Her love and affection inspire the boy to achieve great things.

Just when you think everything is going to be fine, in comes the heroine's friend from abroad and the boy's affection is turned her way.

A great deal of human emotions is expected to be part of the fundamental plot of the film.

The heroine of the film 'Maa Madurai' Mithuna and Jennifer play the female roles, while the director himself plays the protagonist.

Others in the cast include Manorama, Delhi Ganesh, Charlie, Chetan, Devadarshini, and Aarthi. Filming is going on right now.
