Psycho Shankar film ready

This is a Kannada film ‘Psycho Shankar’ not giving gory of rape and murders of Salem based criminal. This film is a showcase of the situation of public when Psycho Shankar escaped from the prison.
In September 2013 Jai Shanker alias Psycho Shankar wanted in 30 rapes and killings escaped from Parappana Agrahara climbing 30 feet electric fencing. He was traced in a week by Karnataka Police. This one week tension for the people from Shankar is the assessment for the subject by director Puneeth Arya R in his debut film ‘Psycho Shankar’ Kannada cinema.
However in 2014 ‘Shankra’ title film was launched but it got stalled. Naveen Krishna was lead actor in rugged look.
‘Psycho Shankar’ is titled in the same name and it is ready for release with caption ‘Still Alive’ below the title. Psycho Shankra character played by Navarasan never talks throughout the film. Only his activities rape, killings etc talk.
R Punith Arya heads the team as director and concludes shooting was a big challenge. As young lovers Yashas Soorya and Amrutha Ramamurthy, in rugged police officer role Sharat Lohitashva, in village pair Vijay Chendur and GV Iyer veteran of cinema industry relative Rashika have some Kollegal accent of dialogues. Madappa role very important in the film has a tappanguchi song in the film. Vedasri Narayan is a crime journalist in the iflm.
Psycho Shankra was shot at Mysuru, Nagamale, Kollegala, Nagamangala surroundings. Sridhar Sambhram scored music for four songs, Ravi Basrur done background score. Vishwa editing, Ultimate Shivu stunts in ‘Psycho Shankra’ is produced by politician from Mysuru Prabhakar S and Manjula P.
This film is set for release in the month of November.
