SK Basheed, the producer of Sundeep Kishan-starrer 'Project Z', had earlier alleged that the actor is a pain to work with. He also accused Sundeep of causing him financial losses.
S Venugopal, one of the producers of 'Nakshatram' (Sundeep's previous film), has said that there is no truth in Basheed's claim that one of the makers of 'Nakshatram' suffered a heart attack because of the troubles caused by Sundeep. "It has come to our notice that someone is spreading this lie. I hereby would like to say that there is no iota of truth in the allegation. It's true that 'Nakshatram' was a flop and we made losses. But it's not due to Sundeep Kishan, who is the most co-operative artist I have come across. He participated in tough schedules for 100 days and never complained even though he suffered injuries during the shoot," Venugopal said in a video message.
Lyricist Rakendu Mouli, too, came out in support of Sundeep. "My voice has been used for Sundeep Kishan garu without my knowledge. He actually spent 6 days on dubbing for the film. He gave 'Project Z' his blood and soul. So, it's improper to sling mud against Sundeep garu," Mouli said.
