'Project Z' illegally screened at theatre

'Project Z', the Telugu version of 'Maayavan', stars Sundeep Kishan and Lavanya Tripathi in lead roles. Directed by CV Kumar, its Tamil version has been critically acclaimed.

The Telugu version was to release today. However, it didn't happen. Meanwhile, a theatre projected an illegal copy of the movie, much to everybody's shock. After the makers came to know of it, they promptly lodged a police complaint for the fraud.

"It's an illegal print that was screened today..without my dubbing/CG/clearance from the Prod..A Police complaint is being lodged as we speak," Sundeep tweeted.

He further said, "Request everyone to pls wait and watch #Maayavan legally on @AmazonVideoIN in the last week of January...with subtitles."
