Chiyaan Vikram has donned many an enviable role in his long career in Kollywood and is one of the most dedicated heroes in Indian cinema. In his 2016 super hit movie 'Iru Mugan' directed by Anand Shankar and costarring Nayanthara he played dual roles as Akhilan a RAW agent and the villain Love a mad effeminate scientist.

The trailer of the upcoming Netflix original Hollywood movie 'Project Power' starring Jamie Foxx has caused a sensation on social media as there are close similarities with the story of 'Iru Mugan'. In both movies the villain is in possession of a drug that gives temporary superpowers to those who have it and speculations started whether this is a remake.
