The shooting for Mohanlal-Sathyan Anthikad's film is on at a rapid pace.

According to the director, it is a serious family drama with an undercurrent of comedy and fun.

Mohanlal enacts the role of Premachandran Asari, a carpenter and is a guy with a good sense of humor. The others in the cast include Oduvil Unnikrishnan, Jagathi, Bindu Panikkar and many others. Ilayaraja tunes the lyrics of Girish Puthencherry. Azhagappan is the cameraman.

The film produced by Antony Perumbavoor is expected to release on 7 April.

Bharat Gopi plays Mohanlal's father.

The director says, the movie is about Premachandran, a skilled carpenter and is very good at his job. His associates are Innocent and Mamookoya. One day after finishing the wood work of a house, Premachandran meets Kanmani (Meera Jasmine) a servant of that house and they fall in love.'

Let's hope the movie goes on to make it big and help Mohanlal re-establish his supremacy.
