Rumors begin to circle around yesterday that actress Alia Bhatt has been tested Covid-19 positive. Within a few hours, actress put a full stop to the gossips by confirming the thing herself. She revealed she has, in fact, been tested positive and has quarantined herself immediately.

She posted a story on her Instagram handle that read, "Hello all, I have tested positive for COVID 19. I have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantine. I am following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors. Grateful for all your love & support. Please stay safe & take care."

The actress was working on her upcoming film 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' when her reports came in. The shoot of the film has now been delayed for at least ten days. The number of Covid-19 cases are increasing day by day and these include celebs as well. Milind Soman, Paresh Rawal, Rohit Saraf, Aamir Khan, R. Madhavan, Bappi Lahiri etc have recently contracted the virus. Alia's boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor and her director Sanjay Leela Bhansali were tested positive a little while ago.
