King Khan's latest film 'Jawan' is now running successfully in cinemas. The mass entertainer was released last week and has minted more than Rs 600 crore in 6 days. Directed by Atlee, it features Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra and many others with Sanjay Dutt in a cameo role.

Meanwhile, Jawan is facing piracy troubles owing to the stupendous response with the film being leaked across various platforms. Red Chillies Entertainment has taken severe disciplinary action against people who share the videos or upload them to media like WhatsApp in order to address this issue. Complaints have been resgistered against those who spread the pirated film content via the internet and the police are taking strict action.

The production company has recruited numerous anti-piracy agencies to actively search down the film pirates, who are then reported to authorities for criminal prosecution for engaging in piracy. Today, Red Chillies Entertainment reported those who engage in piracy to police inspector Mr. Amar Patil from the Santacruz West Police Station. The Delhi High Court granted an order to the production company earlier this year, allowing it to take legal action against pirated and leaked versions of the movie.

A source close to the production company said, "We have already tracked down pirated accounts run by individuals across numerous platforms. Criminal and civil action is being taken against them for publishing the pirated content of the film Jawan. The widespread piracy problem affects the whole film industry and devalues the toil of thousands of workers involved in the production. Piracy constitutes fraud, theft, and an infringement or breach of intellectual property."

The makers have determined that the pirated content directly demonstrates that it violates law and is stolen by people who are illegally sharing the same for monetary gains. Furthermore, the accused would not have been able to commit such an act without engaging in a criminal conspiracy. Therefore, both individuals and organisations will face the legal consequences.
