Prabhas' 'Salaar' is directed by Prashanth Neel. Its producer Vijay Kiragandur of 'KF' and 'Kantara' fame has opened up about the film.

In his latest interview, Vijay said that the film's shoot is done to the tune of 85%. "I saw the rushes. It’s an out-and-out action film. Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran have done a superb job,” the producer told Indian Express.

The remaining portions will be shot in January.

Interestingly, amid rumours that 'Salaar' might not hit the screens in 2023, the producer iterated that it is slated to be released on September 28. Of course, this will happen only if 'Adipurush' gets released in June.

The producer, in another interview, revealed that Hombale Films will be investing as much as Rs 3,000 Cr by 2028 in more than 30 projects. The banner will make at least one event movie every year.
