The newly announced mega budgeted film of Mammootty 'Payyamvelly Chanthu' has created some new etiquette's in filmdom not yet seen in Malluwood.

As the film announces the coming together of a classic team, it has raised considerable interests from the producers. At present, three of the big names in production is running to get the producer credit of the film.

Liberty, Swargachitra and Gokulam Gopalan has approached the director, Hariharan, with the intention of taking up the big bonanza. But the director is in the opinion that he will only fix the producer only after he has completed the scripts.

This is the first time a film is announced in bollywood without the proper mention of names of Producers. Meanwhile the producers has started a row between themselves on the origin of the concept and discussions of the film. Libery Basheer announced that he was the one who proposed the film to the director and scriptwriter and he has collected the shares from the release centres for distributing the film.

The film's script by legendary writer M.T.Vasudevan Nair, is only in its primary phase of rewriting.

M.T.Vasudevan Nair and Hariharan meanwhile holds that they will only allow those to produce the film who will agree to their certain demands. The film is planned to be shoot by December and released for Vishu.
