Producers of 'The Exorcist: Believer' have announced a change in the film's release date, moving it up by a week to avoid competing with Taylor Swift's 'Eras' Tour film. Originally both films were scheduled to premiere on October 13 nationwide. Jason Blum, the renowned producer of the horror film, made the decision to reschedule.

In an announcement on social media, Jason Blum humorously stated, "Look what you made me do. The Exorcist: Believer moves to 10/6/23."

Taylor Swift had previously revealed her own film project, sharing her excitement about bringing 'The Eras Tour' to the big screen. Her concert film was set to release on October 13 in North American theaters. Taylor is known for her high demand in the concert market, and her recent Eras tour had broken sales records, already grossing over $300 million from the initial 22 tour dates.

Pollstar, a data analytics company specializing in the live entertainment industry, reported that Swift's tour is expected to generate an economic impact of $5 billion in the United States, stating that she is a significant driver of local economies. Taylor's concerts have had a remarkable impact on hotel occupancy and tourism in various cities. With an average attendance of 54,000 fans per concert and earnings exceeding $13 million per show, her tour is on track to potentially become the first to surpass the $1 billion mark, concluding in London next year.
