Producers Council Recommends 'Aadi Shankara' To Oscar Committee

Andhra Pradesh Film Producers Council has recommended 'Sri Jagadguru Aadi Shankara' made by JK Bharavi, produced by Nara Jayasri Devi, enacted by by Nagarjuna, Sai Kumar, Mohan Babu, Sri Hari, Kaushik etc., voice rendered by Chiranjeevi has been running successfully across the state of AP. The film has got good critical acclaim and the producers council duly recognized the potential of the film for greater acclaim and recommended the film as the Telugu entry for Academy Award nominations.

Sai Kumar, on behalf of the production team thanked the APFPC for the gesture and promised a continued effort in such line of film making. Producer Jaya Sri Devi also spoke, said that the film will be shown at half the price at all the screens for students if they show their ID cards. Director Maruthi said it gives inspiration for filmmakers like him to come up and make such movies.
