Superstar Rajinikanth's 169th film 'Jailer' is produced by Kalanithi Maran under the Sun Pictures banner. The action entertainer stormed the silver screens on August 10 and became an all-time blockbuster. As per the last official report, Jailer has grossed past Rs 525 crore and is racing towards Rs 600 crore at the box office.

Jailer is now officially the most profitable movie in Sun Pictures history. Owing to that, producer Kalanithi Maran met Superstar Rajinikanth today and the pictures of the same were revealed by the production house. Kalanithi presented a cheque (a portion of the Jailer collection share) to Thalaivar. The photos are now rocking the internet.

Jailer directed by Nelson is an action comedy film that narrates how Tiger Muthuvel Pandian aka Jailer saves his family from bad guys. The film boasts a huge star cast including Vinayakan, Vasanth Ravi, Yogi Babu, Ramya Krishnan, Sunil, Mirnaa, Tamannaah and Redin Kingsley with Mohanlal and Shiva Rajkumar in cameo roles. Anirudh composed the musical score for the film.
