'Kaala' to release before '2.0'? - Dhanush's clarification

Superstar Rajinikanth has completed work on the mega budget sci-fi sequel '2.0' directed by Shankar. At present he is busy shooting for 'Kaala' directed by Pa.Ranjith. The shooting of 'Kaala' began towards the end of May month and the film has been progressing at a very brisk pace. This lead to rumours that 'Kaala' will release before '2.0'

'2.0' is scheduled to hit the screens in January 2018. Rumours cited that '2.0' has been postponed to April 2018 and 'Kaala' will release in January,

However the film's producer Dhanush has denied this in a recent interview. He has said that 'Kaala' shoot is 60% complete but there it will release only after '2.0'.
