Popular producer Five star Kathiresan had earlier this year announced that he's all set to produce a movie which will have actor - director Raghava Lawrence playing the lead role and the team had also announced the title of this movie on eve of Lawrence's birthday.

This movie had been announced to be titled as Rudran and the title announcement poster turned viral. This movie was announced to have music scored by GV Prakash. Now here's an exciting new update on this project.

In an interesting development, it has been revealed that this movie will be directed by producer Five Star Kathiresan himself, thereby making his debut as a director. An official announcement on Kathiresan's directorial debut with Rudran will be made soon. Kathiresan has been known for producing hits such as Pollathavan, Jigarthanda etc.
