'Lingaa' Movie Stills

The big news is here! Superstar Rajinikanth`s magnum opus Lingaa` is getting ready quickly and the producer, Rockline Venkatesh himself has assured that the movie will be released for Rajini`s birthday (12.12.2014) and the audio launch will happen for Diwali.

The team is currently stationed at Karnataka for the final leg and the climax portions will be shot on Sep 22- 26 and dubbing for the movie will start from Oct 1st. After this schedule the team will soon fly to Europe to shoot a couple of duets. Lingaa` features Sonakshi & Anushka in the female lead while Santhanam, Karunakaran, Jagapathy Babu, and Sudheep playing rounding off the important supporting cast. Randy aka Rathnavelu is cranking the camera and the movie marks the third outing for Rajinikanth – K.S. Ravikumar. One could recall both the movies Muthu` & Padayappa` rewrote all the box office records when they released.
