The response to Super Star Mahesh Babu's Guntur Karam movie has stirred up a wave of discussions, primarily fueled by social media trolls and disappointed Mahesh fans. Despite some theaters showing empty seats on Book My Show and a slower pace in ticket bookings, the film's collections seem to be holding up. The production company has officially released collection posters, and the ongoing discussions prompted producer Nagavamsi to address the situation.

During a press conference, executive producer Naga Vamsi acknowledged the mixed talk surrounding the film after the benefit shows, but he emphasized a positive shift as families started arriving in the evening. Naga Vamsi urged the audience not to believe social media reports and to enjoy the film as a family entertainer, highlighting Mahesh Babu's performance and Trivikram's signature dialogues.

Producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi strongly countered critics, stating that certain individuals and sections of the media attempted to undermine the film. However, he credited the audience for saving the film and turning it into a success. According to Vamsi, the film has achieved massive numbers, with most buyers nearing break-even as they've recovered 90% of their investment. Although Nizam collections did not meet expectations, they remain strong.

Addressing the film's overseas performance, Naga Vamsi admitted that it was the only area where the film struggled. He clarified that reviews had little impact, emphasizing that the team's mistake lay in preparing the audience for a mass film while delivering a family entertainer. He noted that this caused a negative impact in the early shows on the opening day, but the situation improved as families began attending later shows.

Reflecting on past experiences, Naga Vamsi highlighted the success of Guntur Kaaram, attributing it to the film's content rather than the Sankrathi season. Dil Raju echoed similar sentiments, emphasizing the enjoyment he observed during evening theater visits and the positive change in perception after multiple viewings. He described the film as a family drama with mother-son dynamics, asserting that the ultimate verdict would be determined by box office results and encouraged everyone to reserve judgment until the festive season concludes.
