Despite being a Bollywood filmmaker himself, Vivek Agnihotri often keeps talking about how bad and immoral this industry is. In one of his recent tweets, the filmmaker commented on how fake Bollywood is and how people are spending ridiculous amount of money on popular faces instead of on good stories.
Sharing a report that claimed that PVR and Inox chains lost 800 crores due to bar reviews of the film 'Brahmastra', Vivek wrote on Twitter, "Problem is everything runs on fakeness in Bollywood. And nobody is answerable. No industry can survive which invests 0% in R&D and wastes 70-80% money on stars."
This isn't the first time Vivek Agnihotri has shown his displeasure towards 'Brahmastra'. In a media interaction a while ago, he had stated, "Brahmastra, do they even know the meaning of that? And then they are talking about Astra Verse, what is even that? Then you put your director, who can't even pronounce Brahmastra. He is a wonderful director. I loved his Wake Up Sid and the second film and I wish he made a wonderful film. I am concerned about him like a mother is concerned about their children. I am very disappointed.”
