Probe into land holdings of Dileep's multiplex

It was recently that actor Dileep built a multiplex of international standards along the banks of Chalakuddy in Thrissur. The multiplex, D Cinemas is now functional. But even as D Cinemas was being built over a 92 cent land, there were rumours that Dileep had encroached on government land.
A petition has been filed by Adv. K. P. Santhosh citing that the land on which D Cinemas has come up is government land allowed to be used by the Kochi royal family. An order citing the same issued by the government had reportedly come out in 1964. According to it, the land is owned by the government but can be used by the royal family alone. The high court has asked to give a report regarding the matter in two months' time.
