The COVID 19-second wave which has disrupted normal life in most parts of India has also claimed many lives. Almost on a day-to-day basis, it is reported that many celebrities belonging to the Tamil film industry have succumbed to the deadly virus.

On the 19h of May Riaz Ahmed revealed that his mother aged 82 was hospitalized at the Isabella hospital in Chennai after testing positive for COVID 19 and complications arose but unfortunately she passed away on the 20th.

The senior PRO took to Twitter and wrote an emotional note to his dear mother in Taml which read "You requested me to take you home telling me that you will isolate yourself and take care but I replied to you to recover soon so that I can take you home. Were you angry with me and went to God without coming back home? I am sorry mom".

The note has moved celebrities and other social media users who are expressing their condolences to the bereaved family.
