If a strong presence on social media was an indication of popularity then quite a few B-Town celebrities may well have a reason to rejoice. This is pretty much evidenced from a recent study and analysis by Pinstorm that has established that Bollywood is leading from the front when it comes to making its presence felt on Twitter.

While Priyanka Chopra is leading from the front and is at the top position, Amitabh Bachchan is also in the Top-3. Other obvious names that make it to the Top-10 are Shahrukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Akshay Kumar though the surprise entry is Ram Gopal Varma who finds himself at number four, just one position under Amitabh Bachchan.

Though Salman Khan, who isn't as active on social media as six months ago, is at number 12, youngsters like Neil Nitin Mukesh, Riteish Deshmukh and Sonam Kapoor are finding themselves in Top-20.

Some of the notable non-Bollywood celebrities in Top-10 are Shashi Tharoor and Kiran Bedi.
