A brutal murder has come to light in Hyderabad.  Priyanka Reddy, aged 26, was recently burnt alive by unidentified assailants.  Her body has been found near Chatanpally village, Shadnagar, Hyderabad.  It's reported that the victim was a veterinary doctor.

As per police records, the victim was raped before being murdered.  As per the victim's sister, Priyanka's scooty suffered a breakdown on Wednesday afternoon while returning to Hyderabad.  She immediately called her sister up and told her that some strangers just took her scooty to a mechanic shed for repair on the pretext of helping her out.  But they returned saying no shed was open in the locality.  Around the same time, the victim noticed that a lorry driver was moving suspiciously in her proximity.  She expressed fear while talking to her sister, who advised her to rush to a nearby toll gate.  It seems the unthinkable happened before Priyanka could make an attempt to move to a safe place.  

The assailants dumped the victim's body after burning her.  An investigation to find the culprits is on.
