Priyanka, Kangana fashioned their way to National Awards

Madhur Bhandarkar has really made it up for these two ladies…. Thanks to his film ‘Fashion’, Priyanka Chopra has won the National Award for Best Actress while Kangana Ranaut got the Best Supporting Actress.


The 56th National Film Awards for 2008 that have been announced lately is reported to carry other names from our industry who won this prestigious award. And here we have a short dekho of the list:

Uday Kiran's film readying for release

Uday Kiran-Swetha Basu Prasad's new film has been titled 'Nuvvekkadunte Nenakkadunta'. It is known that the film has been shot in Puducherry for most part, and Hyderabad and Chennai to a good extent too. Directed by Subha Selvam, the film is produced by Eshwar Prasad and D Kumar, under the banner Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Films.

It is known that VV Vinayak will soon launch a film with Allu Arjun in the lead. The film is titled 'Badrinath' and is produced by Geetha Arts. The latest buzz about the movie is that Tamanna Bhatia has been roped in as the female lead in the film.

Buzz about Bava

A film starring Siddharth in the lead has been launched by Sri Kirthi Combines, which will be directed by debutante director Rambabu. Rambabu, a close associate of Siddharth, is confident of delivering a hit. Something about Bava: the film will see the chocolate boy speaking in the Godavari diction!

Nayakudu as an 'Amayakudu'

Krishnudu-starrer Amayakudu is coming after his Vinayakudu series. The film has Ananya and Punam Singar playing the heroines. Krishnudu plays a naive and simple guy, who falls in love with a girl. Meanwhile, he also sweeps another girl off his feet, when she starts loving him.
