Priyanka Chopra overwhelmed over Exotic success!

Priyanka Chopra has surpassed expectations once again and shot up to the No. 1 spot on the coveted and highly competitive iTunesIndia charts for her latest single Exotic within 2 days of its release!

Having achieved massive success with her debut international single In My City feat. Will.i.am last September, the actor turned singer has done it again garnering chart-topping success with her follow-up International single Exotic on a chart that’s primarily dominated by film-music.

Commenting on the success of her new single Priyanka Chopra said, This is so overwhelming. I’m humbled and super excited. I’m so glad that my ‘desi’ experiment has been accepted and appreciated. I owe it all to my amazing fans who have been so supportive of my music foray. Thank you for making this happen.

Speaking on this achievement Devraj Sanyal, Managing Director, Universal Music India and South Asia said, The second single from Priyanka Chopra Exotic is a monster mash of two megastars Priyanka Chopra and Pitbull. This swift progression is the most rapid ascent to the #1 position until now for a single on these charts, more so for a non-film song where recognition favours music that is popularized through films.

The music video for Exotic is scheduled to launch this Friday, the 12th of July'13.
